The kid and I recently finished reading Roald Dahl's memoir Going Solo, about his time flying a fighter plane in Greece and North Africa during WWII. I've never been great at drawing big machines, but the boy asked, so a couple sketches tonight of Dahl's Hawker Hurricane Mk1.
