Pages first this week.

And a couple sketches from my son: an angry man, and an elf riding a reindeer. He told me the whole story about why the man was angry, but I can’t remember now. Something to do with Napoleon, I think. He’s very interested in Napoleon at the moment.

Got some new pencils the other day and decided to try them out with this sketch of my wife with a few of her friends. I’ve been drawing so much on the tablet lately that several times in the course of this sketch I caught myself pinching the paper to zoom in/out. Tells me I need to get back to pencil and paper a little more often.

This one was inspired by some scrolling through google photos. When my son was a baby we had this giant (at the time) stocking that he fit in perfectly for his first Christmas. And every year since we’ve made him cram into it whatever part of himself will still fit. So I decided to do a side by side comparison sketch from this year’s photo and one from that first year.

As always, the full graphic novel pages with words are available below for paid subscribers.
