Pages 20-21
Sketches first this week, both from old photos of my son. This is a robot that sits inside a local toy store. I think it used to be a ride, although I’m not sure what it did when it turned on. Now it just looks like a big shiny toy in the middle of the store and little kids love to crawl into it. No way my kid would fit into it now. I think he was 4 or 5 here.
Another from about the same time period. I think this was from a class trip to Point Defiance Zoo. The polar bears were in rare form that day. Decided to leave this one a bit looser-looking.
And the new pages. The last few have all taken place during a long car ride. Sorry, I promise this part of the story is almost over. It’s been a good exercise in learning to vary the angles and views, but I’m happy they’ll be out of the car soon.
